One thing that has not helped is the fact that gambling is no longer limited to Las Vegas, or other regular gambling destinations. A person can gamble online without ever having to leave their home, this kind of convenience to this addictive situation is what has brought gambling addiction statistics up over the last five years.

Is that a report that was given by the gamblers anonymous group stated that as much as 6% of people who are participating in gambling will become addicted to gambling. This is a very scary statistic for anyone who gambles and for anyone who currently gambles. The line for addiction is small, but many addicted gamblers know this well. Since there are millions of people gambling, this makes the number very big because that means that tens of thousands of people are addicted to gambling and need help.

The reason that the gambling addiction statistics continually grow, is because gambling on the urge is a disease without many symptoms. One of the symptoms that any addicted gambler can see is the loss of enjoyment for anything else. The addicted gambler often feels a need to gamble even when the gambler doesn’t have the extra money to be spending on gambling. This kind of situation brings many gamblers into a financial hardship and many gamblers have lost their home due to their gambling problem don’t let this happen to you.
