The Ups And Downs Of Gambling Addiction

There are two sides to gambling addiction, there’s that feeling when you are on the winning side of your addiction. But there is also the other feeling on the losing side of your addiction. Neither one of these feelings gives the addicted gambler a sense of satisfaction. This is the reason why if you have a gambling problem is important to get help and let your friends and family know that you fear this serious problem of gambling addiction.

Winning Gambler: When a gambler wins, the time period which the gambler’s winning the gambler feels very optimistic that the winning streak that they are currently on will not halt. The gambler will be able to show everyone that gambling is not a problem for them because they will be able to one so much money at it, although this is hardly the case. This is one of the reasons gambling to be so addicting, it is very rare for someone to win the same amount of money as they have lost. Even if the gamblers winning for their session that the gamblers playing, the gambler will still feel they need to play to get back the money they lost in the past. Usually also when a gambler wins the gambler increases the amount of money that they are betting out on each bet they’re putting out. This kind of action is due to the gamblers excitement of winning and confident that they will not lose. But the sad reality is that gambling is just that, gambling there is no guaranteed a win and no proven system to beat any game of chance.

Losing Gambler: Often if the gambler is not winning, the gambler will still tell there friends that they are doing very well in the game of chance that they enjoy playing, even though they are not winning the money the gambler says they are. This is why it is very important to know the symptoms of gambling addiction. Also to know if you’re addicted, by recognizing the signs and getting out of the gambling world before it leaves you broke and alone. Gambling can cause family problems because you are using the money that your family needs to survive on your habit. Doing this means that the gambler is putting the security of their family on the back of the priority list, and putting gambling at the top of the gamblers priority list. Getting help is what can keep your family together during your gambling addiction.
